This will explain the role teachers play in maintaining Start and End Dates for their enrollments

Students choose their own start date upon requesting a course.  The end dates are fixed based on the term they choose (S1, S2, Y1).  The student’s access to the course is completely dependent on the start and end date:

  • Students cannot access a course before their start date.
  • Students cannot access a course after their end date.

If a student’s plan changes, teachers must alter the start and/or end dates in DLCgo in a Current Enrollments page (for more information see the Current Enrollments Pages article).  This task is completely independent of the section that a student is enrolled in, so the task can be done before or after a transfer happens, for example.  It is best practice to alter a student’s start and/or end date upon receiving information.
